The Thompson School’s Horticultural Technology Program offers two specializations: General Ornamental Horticulture or Landscape Operations. Students study the art and science of applied plant biology, preparing for environmentally attuned careers in the Green Industry. Rigorous first-year foundation courses in plant materials, plant growth and development, and soils support second-year specialization in ornamental horticulture or landscape operations. Employment opportunities in these areas continue to be excellent.

Students may transfer their credits to the Environmental Horticulture 4-year degree program.
